Fei Brew Cafe @ Bayan Point, Penang

I don't think I have ever mentioned this on my blog but I do make conscious attempt to have several vegetarian/vegan meals in a week. I'm not a vegetarian or a vegan by any means but I just want to contribute a little effort in taking care of the environment while giving my digestive system some time off from time to time. I have been keeping up with such diet for 2 good years. In my humble opinion, this also keeps my weight in check despite not having a strict diet regime all the time (or maybe that's what I'd like to believe myself).

On this note, I'd like to introduce a new place that's pretty near to my place. I love it when there's a new pleasant vegetarian cafe in Bayan Lepas so I won't have to go all the way to Georgetown when I'm feeling lazy. 

Fei Brew Cafe is a meatless (vegetarian but not vegan) cafe that is newly established at Bayan Point on the 1st floor of a commercial lot behind B Suite. 

I'm very huge on having black-and-white interior so I fell in love with the place immediately. With dry flowers and pops of green here and there, Fei Brew Cafe is definitely an Insta-worthy place to visit. 

Fei Brew Cafe offers a wide range of coffee and fresh juices. The tranquil environment makes it a decent place to chill or even carry business meetings over a glass of delicious drink. 

Chai Latte

Under my friend/ex-colleague Georgette's influence, I started loving chai latte a lot. However, ever since I got back from Australia, there's never a time where I could get a good cup of chai latte...until I visited Fei Brew Cafe. So, if you are like me who loves chai latte, here's the place to go!

The owner of the cafe Mr Khor gave both Rachael and I surprises by making 2 glasses of juices that matched our outfits! 잘 마시게~

Rachael, Olivia and I somehow wore traffic light outfits that day. 

A table full of appealing vegetarian dishes that range from the local delicacy to western cuisine to desserts.

I'm not usually the type of person who takes salad unless it's KFC's coleslaw (is coleslaw even a type of salad?) but I really enjoyed this dish. Dare I said, this was the dish that I reached out to the most. I probably finished half of this bowl by myself #sorrynotsorry.

Using vegetarian cheese, Fei Brew Cafe managed to impress our tastebuds with such creamy and cheesy mac and cheese. It tasted just like the authentic mac and cheese. We finished this off in a matter of minutes.

Have enough of regular milk coffee or black coffee? Why not look for an upgrade by trying out the skills of the baristas at Fei Brew Cafe?!

This cup of Syphon Coffee that was meticulously brewed right in front of our eyes.

It's been quite a while since the 3 of us hung out together for a food review. The last time was at Coffee Signature. So, it's definitely a pleasant Saturday afternoon spent at Fei Brew Cafe. It was also cool to make new blogger friends (Cyndy, Weii Chong and Yinyi) over scrumptious vegetarian dishes.

Lastly, thanks to the owner of Fei Brew Cafe, Mr Khor for the warm hospitality. We'll be back soon! It's a promise :)
